Friday, November 7th - Sunday, November 9th
Join us for our November Campout and Trail to First Class event at Yucaipa Regional Park, nestled in the scenic San Bernardino Mountains near Mount San Gorgonio. This exciting weekend is designed to help Scouts accelerate their advancement from Scout to First Class through hands-on learning and outdoor adventure. During the Trail to First Class portion of the event, Scouts will work on essential skills such as First Aid, Orienteering, Compass Use and Navigation, Raising and Lowering the Flag, Knots, Whipping and Fusing, Totin’ Chip, Firem’n Chit, and more.
This is a fantastic opportunity for Scouts to gain required camping nights, work on their patrol cooking skills, and build camaraderie with fellow troop members. Advancement activities will take place on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, and lunch will be provided by Troop 2012. The cost for Scouts attending the full weekend (Friday to Sunday) is $40.00, which includes camping, advancement activities, and Saturday lunch.
Camping is limited to just 16 scouts, so register soon. Don’t miss this memorable weekend of learning, advancement, and outdoor fun!
